This page explains cookies, similar storage and third-party content on the Francis Stevens website.
What cookies do
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Websites can also use browser storage to remember choices. Some storage is needed for a feature you request; other technologies can support optional preferences, tracking or advertising.
Your choices
The cookie banner lets you accept, reject or customise optional categories. Optional categories are off by default. Use Cookie Settings in the footer to reopen your choices. Necessary storage used to remember a consent choice does not enable advertising or tracking by itself. You can also remove cookies and website storage through your browser; doing so may mean you are asked again.
Consent storage
The Framer banner uses first-party browser storage, including framerCookiesConsentMode (your category choices) and framerCookiesDismissed (whether you have responded). These entries have no built-in expiry and remain until you clear website storage or the website changes them. You can reopen Cookie Settings to change your choices.
Framer hosting and analytics
This website is hosted by Framer. Framer states that its built-in website analytics does not use cookies or persistent identifiers. It provides aggregated information such as page views, visits and traffic sources. The built-in analytics is separate from optional third-party analytics tools.
Optional tracking
No Google Analytics, advertising pixels or marketing scripts were identified in the website content and custom-code configuration reviewed on 13 October 2026. The banner includes categories for future optional services; accepting a category does not mean such a service is currently installed. Any future optional tracking must be connected to consent controls before it is enabled, and this page must be updated.
Maps, media and external links
The contact page map uses OpenStreetMap tiles and Leaflet software loaded through external providers. Your browser connects to those providers and sends connection information such as your IP address, even where no cookie is used. Portfolio photographs, the decorative 404 slideshow and directly hosted video files load as website media. Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and file-transfer services open third-party services with their own privacy and cookie practices. The banner does not automatically block every external request made by website media or the map.
